Who’s behind it
Chris Prader
Chris Prader spent fourteen years in IT management at Covance — now Labcorp Drug Development, one of the largest CROs in the world — working across multiple US locations and international roles. That is where the familiarity with clinical research operations, GxP environments, and regulated data comes from: not from reading about it, but from running the systems underneath it.
He then built RPM Technologies into a thirty-person managed service provider purpose-built for life sciences and defence, and ran it for two decades before it was acquired in April 2026. He started in code in the late 1990s, which is still how he evaluates a vendor’s architecture claims.
ctms.tools is built and operated by Trial Logic, LLC, his clinical research technology practice. Engagements are hands-on and taken personally — no account managers, no handoffs. If you are talking to someone about your CRM and CTMS, you are talking to him.
